1000 Things To Do In New York City

I suppose it’s pretty obvious that there is little chance of me actually listing the 1,000 things to do in New York City here. Sorry to disappoint, it’s not that I don’t have the time so much as I really don’t have the inclination. New York City is by far the most vibrant and wonderful city that we have in this great country of ours and I happen to love every minute that I get to spend there, soaking in the culture and enjoying it for all it is worth. With the noisy streets, the mad cabbies, the hot subways (unless it’s dead of winter)… the whole crazy mess. At some point in the not to distant future I do plan on giving you my favorites of NYC but for right now, the very best way to find what you might potentially love is for you to read through all the commentary that others have given previously and then find your own fun. There are thousands of websites that offer travel advice and reviews – its hard to believe any of them, due frankly to potential for advertisers to get their claws into the publishers / bloggers.

1000 Things To Do At The Beaches

Apparently, or so from I’ve heard, all search engines love lists, so I was thinking of making a list of the 1,000 things to do at the beach, any beach really, but then I realized how sort of ridiculous that is. That is an amazingly long and almost impossible list for anyone to come up with. On the one hand I tend to be pretty lazy, so have no real desire to go through all the trouble and I also happen to be practical, making a list of 1,000 things to do anywhere is probably a futile effort that won’t pay me back in anything other than personal satisfaction of getting a job well done. Better that I should outsource my “list of things to do” to more reputable sources and go straight to the horses mouth. I’m not a huge fan of services like Yelp or anything like that which claims to offer reviews – lets be honest, they’re all pretty much phony anyway. But I do like to get it from people that offer real thought and commentary. Needless to say there are thousands of website that claim some superior knowledge on how to make your beach vacation to anywhere the very best that it can be. Me? I’d rather get suggestions from people who have been there and done that, real stories from real people who are giving their opinions and maybe even have a couple of photos posted. While it by no means covers every beach destination across the planet, Circa The Beaches does focus mostly on Florida, but has expanded out here and there to some of the other warmer island spots in the Caribbean and beyond. I tend to believe the stories that people submit, because they do have photos of whoever the author is engaged in their favorite pastime. So if you’re planning some sort of a great and wonderful escape to the sun and sand, its probably not the worst resource you can rely on.

The Soon To Be Republican National Convention Schedule

Ah yes, well leave it to Salon.com to always give us a little bit of political humor on A Friday afternoon, although, it wasn’t until today that I read it – a little late in catching up this weekend. Here’s their take on what the full schedule will be at the soon to be National Republican Convention, which should be all sorts of fun for everyone, although probably not for all the immigrants they want to deport, or the Muslims they want to keep out, or the women they want to repress. Probably The Worst Political Debate Yet

I wouldn’t be so crass as to assume that everyone watched the most recent GOP debate last night, at this point aren’t we all getting a little tired hearing these guys shoot off their mouths? Trump, oddly enough, despite what a horrible troll he is, he did manage to put Ted Cruz in his place calling into question New York and its values as any sort of a lesser America… I won’t say thank you to Mr. Trump, but good show. Dr. Carson, showed, up, sort of, if he’s ever actually really there at all. Rubio, just perpetually looks like a nit-wit. Here is a guy who is supposed to be the younger face of the Republican party and he just perpetually looks and acts like a fool.

Som, here it is, second week of January 2016 and we’ve basically got 11 months to go until the election. That being said however, the fight will, should get really interesting in the next couple of weeks as the primaries start to roll around.

New Candidates In The Running For President

Seems there are a couple of new candidates in the running for president, even though our guess would be that they are far too late to make any sort of a difference, difference as either actually getting on the ballot or making any sort of a real impact among the electorate. It would be a mistake to call them wing nuts, since both seem to have at least some basic skills of what they have accomplished in the real world outside of politics.

Happiest Of Holidays To One And All

Wow, how time flies hunh? I admit this hasn’t been the busiest of years for me in terms of keeping up to date on my blog here and I want to thank those of you who have stopped by here and there to visit and to make sure that I’m still alive. So in keeping with the holiday spirit, I just want to wish one and all out there across the globe the very best for this holiday season and a very Happy 2016. If I can give my opinion real quick which is what I do here, 2015 was weird, I’m not exactly sure why. Maybe the start of the political 2016 race for US president, maybe it’s something to do with all the refugees in Europe, fights over the environment, conflict seemingly everywhere. But 2015 just gave me a bad feeling about things in general – weird. So here’s to a better 2016.
